Lerato Clears Her Name Amidst Madlanga Commission Controversy
Lerato Kganyago finally speaks out after the 12 On Hillel Villa and Spa hotel released a statement denying her involvement with the establishment, following allegations and testimonies at the Madlanga Commission of Inquiry.
The media personality took to her Instagram stories to express her emotional turmoil, revealing that years of media and social media attacks have taken a significant toll on her life. She shared that the situation became so dire that she had to hide her children to protect them. Lerato warned that she would retaliate against her critics, though she didn’t specify how.
In her emotional post, Lerato stated, “Media and social media have truly taken a toll on me for years, and not a single apology has ever come my way for ANY ACCUSATION… Trust me, I will stand my ground and retaliate.” She also shared a subsequent post, indicating that she’s no longer the understanding person she used to be, having persevered and succeeded despite being targeted repeatedly.
Lerato’s statement comes after the luxury hotel’s management denied any connection to her, amidst the ongoing investigation by the Madlanga Commission. The commission is probing allegations of corruption and wrongdoing within various institutions.
