Mandisi Tshingana introduces Foundation

Last Updated: October 30, 2025By

The Mandisi Tshingana Foundation has officially been launched, marking a significant step toward creating sustainable change and deepening its impact on underserved communities.

The foundation’s team explained that this new chapter was inspired by their experiences with numerous fundraising campaigns over the past months, which had touched countless lives and brought hope to those who needed it most. They shared that these efforts had opened their eyes to the extraordinary power of collective action and the importance of working together to make a difference.

The foundation’s mission, they stated, is rooted in the African philosophy of Umntu Ngumntu Ngabantu, which emphasises that humanity’s greatest strength lies in unity and standing together as one. By formally establishing the Mandisi Tshingana Foundation as a registered nonprofit organisation, the team said they could now operate more transparently and efficiently. They added that this formal structure ensures that donations are properly accounted for, providing reassurance to donors, potential tax benefits, and the ability to maximize every contribution for greater impact.

The team explained that the foundation aims to unite hearts and resources to create meaningful and lasting change, particularly for communities that are often overlooked. They urged supporters to join them on this journey, whether through donations, sponsorships, or by simply spreading the word about their cause. They emphasised that every form of support helps strengthen their mission to rewrite futures and build legacies of opportunity and empowerment.

The foundation also highlighted their commitment to accountability, noting that channeling funds through a nonprofit structure ensures that every rand is used in the most impactful way possible. They said this approach enables them to go beyond what individual contributions alone could achieve, amplifying their ability to drive change.

In a heartfelt appeal, the Mandisi Tshingana Foundation’s team asked supporters to help nurture the spirit of ubuntu – a belief that our shared humanity is the foundation of hope and progress.

“Let’s keep the flame of ubuntu alive,” they said, adding that hope doesn’t just begin with unity—it grows and thrives through collective action.

The team concluded by inviting everyone to be part of this journey of hope and empowerment, reminding them that together, they can build lasting change. #WhereHopeBegins
