The Madlanga Commission has uncovered disturbing allegations regarding Vusimuzi “Cat” Matlala’s involvement in the attempted assassination of his ex-girlfriend, Tebogo Thobejane. On Thursday, October 30, 2025, Witness C resumed his testimony before the commission, revealing explosive details about Matlala’s alleged role in orchestrating the attack and the financial arrangements behind it.

Previously, Witness C had linked Cat to the disappearance of businessman Jerry Boshoga, but his latest testimony introduced further allegations, claiming that Cat paid R150,000 to have Thobejane murdered.
