Sithelo Shozi Welcomes Fourth Child, Celebrates Baby Girl With Sushi, Champagne and a Birkin
Motherhood has a new addition, and Sithelo Shozi is embracing it in style. The media personality and The Masked Singer South Africa detective has welcomed a baby girl with her husband, Zimbabwean businessman Kudzaishe James Magura. The little one is the couple’s first child together, making Shozi a mother of four and a mother to three daughters.
The new arrival comes after a big year of milestones for the couple, who went from an engagement in Italy to celebrating their lobola ceremony in KwaZulu-Natal before announcing that they were expecting their first child together.
The couple first made their relationship public in April 2026, when Shozi confirmed that she was engaged after Magura proposed during a romantic holiday in Italy. She shared a picture of her engagement ring on Instagram, accompanied by the caption, “…and suddenly I’m left-handed.”
In August, the couple took another significant step in their relationship, celebrating their lobola ceremony in Newcastle, KwaZulu-Natal. Shozi shared glimpses of the traditional celebration on social media, writing, “Muroora apinda kumhuri yekwaMagura,” which translates to the bride has joined the Magura family.
The television personality announced her fourth pregnancy in October with a maternity photoshoot, sharing the news with the playful caption, “A slight change to the seating plan.”
And now, with their little girl finally here, Shozi has given followers a glimpse into her rather glamorous maternity ward experience.
The new mother shared pictures and videos of her hospital room, which had been transformed with pink balloons and beautiful floral arrangements. There was also a sushi boat and champagne waiting for her, as she revealed that these were part of her post-delivery plans.
“Birth plan: Sushi boat and Blanc de Blancs immediately after,” she captioned one of her posts.
As if the celebrations were not already special enough, Magura also surprised his wife with a Hermès Birkin handbag as a push present.
Shozi also took a moment to publicly appreciate her husband for the support he has shown her during her postpartum recovery.
“One day you’ll be freshly postpartum, and it’s really going to matter who you married,” she wrote.
The arrival of their daughter marks another chapter in Shozi’s family life. She has three children from previous relationships, a son with businessman Makhosini Maseko, popularly known as Lord Phil, and two daughters with Andile Mpisane. Her newborn is her first child with Magura.
