Elizabeth Arden’s Eternal Aura Honours the Women Who Inspire Others to Bloom

Elizabeth Arden South Africa has launched its newest fragrance, Eternal Aura Eau de Parfum, by putting the spotlight on the women whose stories of resilience, courage and compassion have inspired those around them.

Held at Divine Sunset in Midrand, the “Let Your Aura Bloom” event went beyond the unveiling of a new fragrance. Instead, the brand used the occasion to celebrate womanhood by recognising women whose journeys have positively impacted their families, workplaces and communities.

In the weeks leading up to the event, South Africans were invited to nominate remarkable women in their lives. Hundreds of nominations poured in, with mothers, daughters, sisters, mentors, colleagues and friends being recognised for their strength, perseverance and unwavering support.

From these submissions, more than 40 women were selected and invited to the exclusive launch, where they were honoured for the difference they have made in the lives of others.

“At Elizabeth Arden, we have always believed that true beauty is born from courage, character and the experiences that shape us,” said Maggie Wang, Head of Marketing at Elizabeth Arden & CDH Fragrances.

“The ‘Let Your Aura Bloom’ campaign reminded us that every woman carries a unique light. Seeing hundreds of women celebrate one another with such authenticity has been incredibly moving. Eternal Aura was created to honour exactly that spirit, celebrating every chapter that shapes who we are and encouraging women to embrace the light that has always been within them.”

According to the brand, the nominations reflected the resilience and diversity of South African women. Some had turned personal hardship into purpose by founding organisations that uplift communities, while others rebuilt their lives after devastating illness, profound loss or trauma and now use their experiences to support women facing similar challenges.

The stories also highlighted women who have quietly dedicated decades to education, healthcare and community development without seeking recognition. Entrepreneurs, mothers, mentors and changemakers were also recognised for overcoming discrimination, self-doubt and difficult circumstances to create meaningful change.

While every story was different, they shared a common thread: that growth often comes from life’s most difficult chapters.

Adding a personal dimension to the event, media personality Kayise Ngqula reflected on her own journey of grief and healing following the 2019 car accident that claimed the life of her husband, Farai Sibanda, just 10 months into their marriage.

Sharing her experience with guests, Ngqula spoke about learning to carry profound loss while continuing to live with purpose, reminding attendees that healing is not about forgetting painful experiences but finding the courage to keep moving forward.

As Elizabeth Arden introduces Eternal Aura Eau de Parfum to the South African market, the brand says the fragrance represents more than a new addition to its portfolio. It serves as a tribute to women who continue to grow, inspire others and embrace every chapter of their lives.

The campaign also reinforces a broader message: when women celebrate one another, they not only acknowledge each other’s achievements but also inspire one another to keep growing.
