Nandi Madida’s Motherhood Podcast Scores International Award Nomination

Last Updated: September 18, 2026By

South African singer, actress and media personality Nandi Madida is celebrating an exciting international milestone after her podcast, The Motherhood Network Podcast, was nominated for the Digital Creator Awards in Qatar and the UAE.

The nomination marks a significant achievement for Nandi, whose podcast has carved out a dedicated space for honest and meaningful conversations about motherhood, parenting and the experiences that often go unspoken.

Taking to social media, Nandi shared her excitement over the international recognition and called on her supporters to vote for the podcast as it enters the first round of voting.

“What an honour to be nominated for the Digital Creator Awards in Qatar and UAE for The Motherhood Network Podcast. It’s unreal that we have been selected for this global award,” she wrote.

She encouraged listeners and supporters to get behind the podcast and help it progress to the next stage of the competition.

“The first round of voting is now open, and I would truly appreciate your support. Link in bio,” she added.

For Nandi, The Motherhood Network Podcast was created to do more than simply discuss parenting. The platform aims to celebrate motherhood, amplify the voices and experiences of African mothers, and create room for conversations that women may not always feel comfortable having elsewhere.

“Every vote counts, and I’m incredibly grateful for your support. Let’s get through the first round together!” she said.

The Digital Creator Awards is an international awards platform that recognises digital creators, influencers, storytellers and content producers across different areas of the digital landscape.

The nomination comes only a few months after The Motherhood Network Podcast premiered on 11 May 2026. Since its launch, the podcast has built its identity around creating an open and relatable space where mothers can share their experiences without having to present a picture-perfect version of motherhood.

Nandi has used the platform to explore everything from parenting and family life to healing, relationships and the realities of raising children.

The podcast has also brought together several well-known South African mothers, including Ntando Rambani, Basetsana Kumalo, Gugu Gumede and Nozipho Ntshangase.

Through these conversations, the podcast explores the different ways women experience motherhood while also highlighting the common emotions, challenges and joys that connect them.

The international nomination comes at a significant point for the podcast, particularly given how recently it launched. It also places a spotlight on a platform that is intentionally centred on African mothers and their stories.

With the first round of voting now open, Nandi is hoping her supporters will rally behind The Motherhood Network Podcast and help the show progress to the next stage of the Digital Creator Awards.

For the award-winning possibility to become a reality, however, the podcast will first need to make it through the public voting stage, making support from its growing audience particularly important.
